Challenges

The creation of an intuitive navigation system was crucial to ensure that visitors could seamlessly explore the diverse content of this exhibition. Balancing information density without overwhelming users posed another challenge, as the screens needed to convey the rich history of Fethard in a digestible manner. Ensuring accessibility for users of varying technological proficiency and ages was vital to providing an inclusive experience. Additionally, maintaining a cohesive visual identity across the different interactive elements while accommodating the diverse content types required thoughtful design decisions.

My involvement

I played a key part in designing and refining the user interface and experience for several interactive touchscreens. My focus was on crafting a user-friendly and engaging interface that effectively communicated the fascinating history of Fethard through the interactive programs.
