The main challenge was translating the complex subject matter into a visually engaging narrative. Crafting a script that conveys the significance of Dr. Gareth Owens' new interpretation while maintaining viewer interest was a primary focus. My role extended beyond video creation to strategizing how to drive interest in the event. The challenge was to make the video shareable and intriguing enough to attract a wide audience, resulting in the video garnering more than 20,000 views. ollaboration with Dr. Gareth Owens and other stakeholders was essential to accurately represent the academic content in the promo video and marketing materials. Ensuring that the visual and informational aspects complemented the scholarly significance of the Phaistos Disc interpretation was a key part of my involvement.

My involvement

I led the creation of the animated promo video from start to finish. This involved translating the complex subject matter into a visually engaging narrative. In addition to the video, I took charge of designing all marketing materials, including posters and schedules. Ensuring that these materials visually represented the event's importance and details required aligning the design with the overall promotional strategy.
